How it all started
scandit was started by a Ukrainian who moved to Stockholm because of the war.
He made the first table to start life over. Then came a second, a third, and a whole workshop grew from there.
We make the tables in Ukraine, from oak and ash. In Stockholm we take on new orders. Every table is dried, filled with resin, levelled and sanded smooth — all by hand.
Process
From board to finished table
Every step is done by hand.

Choosing the wood
We find a good piece of wood and dry it.

Pouring the resin
We fill the cracks with epoxy resin.

Sanding
We level and polish it smooth.

Finish and legs
We seal it and fit the steel legs.

Wood grain can't be repeated. Every table is the only one.
